Why I hate Chuck E Cheese

LMAO

We went to a party there this weekend. Both dh & I left saying the same thing we said last time we went there - "We will never have a birthday party there! The place is evil!"

Ok, yes, I can see why people love Chuck E Cheese. Kids love it. They throw an easy party for mom and dad. But, I hate it.

The place is always very crowded. My kids are still too young to run around on their own.

But, more importantly, if I am going to throw a party for my kids, I want my kids to be able to play with their friends. And I want to be able to see their friends and talk to the other adults. These things are impossible at a place like Chuck E Cheese. The kids are together just for food time. That is it. Some kids come back for the presents to be opened, some do not. It is crazy there. When it was time to hand out the favor bags, the birthday girl was crying because she couldn't find her friend and she wanted to give her her bag. So sad.

The place is too big and too crowded for us to enjoy. We prefer home parties. Of course, I can understand why people don't always want to do home parties. Fine. Understandable. But, I would never go to Chuck E Cheese. I would spend any amount to rent out somewhere else than to ever have it there. It is far too impersonal for my liking.
