What do you believe from a 4 yr old?

Sarah told me today that she was line leader at school. She was so excited. The highlights:
- She got to hand out snacks. (They had cheeze its. But Ms Reena wouldn't let her have any since she didn't know if it was ok.)
- She got to watch the class while Ms Reena went to the bathroom. (I asked if she had to yell at anyone. She said "yes, the boys." When I asked why, she told me "they used bad words. They kept saying poopy." lmao)

Then she told me that the kids all had snow cones today. What? Why? And that she didn't have any b/c she didn't know if I wanted her having any dye today. (She knows she can have some small amounts from time to time since she doesn't react to it.) Seriously? Did she seriously turn down a snow cone b/c of the dye? (Her teachers have no clue she isn't allowed to have dyes since she brings in her own snack anyway.) And seriously, why would they make snow cones in January.

I wanted to think she was making it up but I think her story was too complex to be made up.
- She repeatedly told me that there were 3 flavors (watermelon, blueberry and cotton candy) and that she would have picked watermelon.
- She described how Ms Reena put ice into a machine, puched down and then they saw all the shavings coming out. I don't think she could make that part up.

But it is all so strange. Snow cones in January?

I will have to question her teacher on Friday. I want to know if it really happened, if she really didn't have one, and what she said to explain why she wasn't having one. (When I asked her what she told Ms Reena about not wanting one, she said she didn't say anything. I asked her if she told her she couldn't have dye. She said no. So what did she say?)
