Today was first Friday which means that the kids at school had to go to mass. I kind of wanted to go just to see how Justin did. And then I found out Emily was singing a solo part with the choir. Grammy and Grampy were going. I figured I'd go too. I changed my mind and stayed home. Mass started at 9:30. At 9:45 Sarah comes up to me and asks "When are we going to go see Emily and Justin at school?" Oh man! So off we went. We got there during the Gospel. Sarah was completely well behaved.
And oh my --- it was all worth it to see the look on Justin's face when he saw us. I went up behind Grammy and Grampy for Communion. I got to see the HUGE smile on his face as he saw Grammy and Grampy. He was in heaven. As pretty as smile I have ever seen on him. And then he saw me. Oh....he was just so happy. I was so happy. I am so glad he was so happy to see all of us.
And it was great to listen to Emily. She did great! Some of the kids were not so easy to listen to, but she was really good.
