White bed

I forgot to share the news. Sarah got a big girl bed on Sunday. Well, it is actually a white wooden toddler bed. Perfect for a girl. And she loves it! She says "I love my white bed. It is my favorite!!" And she is good about climbing into it when it's time for nap or bed.

Now...flashback to Justin's bed experience. He got his car toddler bed when he turned 2 1/2. He got it on Christmas. We brought it into his room. He loved to play on it. But, sleep, no thanks. It became a car accessory. He played on it for 3 months, while sleeping in his crib. Finally, 3 months later, in late March 2006, he asked to take a nap in his bed. That night he went back to his crib. Same thing next day - nap in the bed, nighttime in the crib. Following day we was back in his crib. Then within a week or so he went back to the bed and it was goodbye to the crib. But it was a very tough transition for him.

Sarah meanwhile was ready. She is 2 months older than he was when he finally wanted his bed. But she is also just so used to playing and lying down in Justin's bed.
