We are on day 3 of Sarah in underwear. Same thing all day. She holds it for hours. I put her on the potty and nothing happens. And then eventually she will pee in her pants. Over and over and over again. I was ready to put her on the potty this morning after I got out of the shower, but I wanted to get dressed first. A minute before when I would have put her on the potty, she peed in her pants. Ugh!!! Totally missed opportunity.
But, finally, before bed she went naked for an hour or so. Then I put her on the potty before putting her diaper on for bed. 5 minutes later, while we were just talking, she peed. The look on her face was priceless! She was shocked. And she was so happy and proud. So at least she knows now what she is supposed to do, even if it was only done by accident. lol
But at least it is a start.
