The Grand Piano

That is all that Justin talks about. He wants a toy grand piano. Ms Nicholas has a new grand piano and he wants to be like her. This will be his graduation present. I must be crazy. But all he wants to do lately is sing music, play his piano, pretend he's at mass, etc. We've told him he should take piano lessons when he's a little bit older. And I told him that maybe he could be a music teacher someday. I think that's a fitting dream for now. And he has fully embraced it! He is definitely a boy with music in his heart.

My boy might love school, but he's in the mood for summer and it has fully affected his need for school. He no longer can't wait to get there. Why? "Because it's almost summer and summer is when I get to play." Smart kid. That said, he graduates in less than 30 days. Wow!

Meanwhile, during the summer, the ice cream truck will be the death of me. Justin is obsessed with the ice cream truck and he fully believes that he is entitled to get some ice cream each time the truck goes by. Talk about annoying!

The spring concert was last Tuesday. Justin loves that stuff. So do I! The Kindergarten sang songs from Mary Poppins. They sang Supercalafragalistic, and Just a Spoonful of Sugar. Or was the second one something else? Hmmm...I will have to look that up. The kids are encouraged to dress up so he dressed in his cop jacket to dress as the cop from the show. He looked so cute.
