And he swims!!

We made him ditch the lifejacket swimsuit about 4 days ago. And he is doing great. He's swimming. He's jumping in the pool. He's swimming under water. He's no longer afraid to put his head under water. I am so proud. I actually cried yesterday while watching him.

Meanwhile Sarah is doing great with her lifejacket. She is like a little fish now. It is so fun to watch now.

A new soccer season...

And then there were 2 playing soccer!

Justin was excited to play again, but definitely not as excited as Sarah. She was so happy to finally get to play soccer. She loved practice and I loved how cute she looked!
And it was just so fun to see Sarah so happy and so confident. She wasn't one bit timid or scared. She was just so much in her element. And she was good. It was fun to watch.

Things Learned in Mystic

1. Never share a pizza with Sarah at Mystic Pizza. Buy her her own pizza! I had forgotten 2 years ago. How could I have forgotten? 2 years ago, at age 2, Sarah shared a pizza there with me and Mick. She ate 4 pieces while I ate 2 and Mick ate 2. Mick and I both left hungry. Again - How could I have forgotten?? Last year we had a lot of pizza since Grammy and Grampy were with us so I guess we didn't notice. Anyway - this year Mick ordered a sandwich so Sarah and I were on our own. Mick suggested we order a small pizza to share. I agreed. Stupid, stupid me! Sarah ate 6 pieces. I ate 2. I was so hungry. And it was so sad since I was craving their pizza so badly. I ended up eating all her crust and covering it with her cheese. Yup. I ate tons of cheese. Me. Lactose intolerant me. I had no choice. I learned my lesson. If we ever go back, she gets her own pizza!

2. Use bug spray! At 10 am. At Dino World. I got several bites. Sarah got 3 and they puffed right up. Gross. Large. And opened up and oozed.

3. Justin loves the Cuzzi. That's what he calls the jacuzzi. He doesn't even care if it's too hot, he loves it!

4. I will go into the hotel pool to make my kids happy. And happy they were!

5. It is worth it to stay in the hotel late to let the kids watch Fetch and end up going to dinner late. Totally worth it. Even if I was totally hungry.

6. I love sharing the bed with Sarah, even if she does like to sleep sideways at times and talks to herself a whole lot in her sleep.

7. Justin likes to sleep with Daddy and he likes to use Daddy's belly as a pillow.
