Anyone remember?
I just remembered today that his playgroup friend who was about 7 months younger than him is the one that taught him to jump. Justin doesn't remember him b/c they moved away a couple years ago. His name was Steven Bottone. His mom was Dell. And his mom and I thought it was so cute that someone so much younger than him taught him to jump.

Swimming
This summer just became harder. Sarah has finally ventured into the pool and she loved it. But it is work. We have to hold her the whole time. Figures this happens right after Justin earns his freedom. Oh well.... She is as crazy about the pool now as he is.
And Justin today moved from a life jacket to arm rings. He can stand up in the shallow end and the life vest restricts him a little too much. So we will see how he does, but so far it was a good move. We need to watch even more now though.

Birthday and Field Trip!
Tuesday was a great day. Justin turned 6 and Sarah had her field trip for school.
So Justin spent the morning playing with his new playmobile and watching his new Scooby Doo dvds. Then off to Hoffmans. They had a great time. 4 1/2 hours of food and rides. They loved every minute. And no whining, no complaining, nothing but peace.
After that it was off to Friendly's to celebrate Justin's big day. It was his choice, of course. Grammy and Grampy met us there. Justin actually didn't order chicken fingers, which was a shock, but opted for a hot dog instead. Hmmm... And he was over the top excited when the watresses all sang Happy Birthday to him. It was all great!!!
Oh, and I should mention - it was interesting to watch Justin on some of the rides. Some he just enjoyed. Others he choose to study how they worked. He was so intent on figuring it all out.
Happy 6th Birthday my boy!!!

And the boy turns 6!
Justin while opening his new playmobile this morning "This is the best day of my 6 yr old life!" Happy Birthday to my baby boy!!
I am truly in awe that it has been 6 years. Time really flies by. So much has changed for all of us since my 5 lb, 1 oz boy came into the world. At the time he was so small that none of his clothes fit him. At 17 1/2 inches long, he was too short for any of his clothes. And he couldn't eat. Or wouldn't eat. Trying to feed him with a syringe was just pathetic. I remember how horrible that first week was. Until he stayed in the hospital and finally got rid of his janudice and started to learn to suck a little.
Now he has grown a ton. And eats a ton. And has learned a ton. And is a happy, funny and smart little 1st grader to be.

Kindergarten Graduation
I cannot believe it but Justin graduated today. How is that possible? I feel like we just took him home from the hospital.
